Bristol Manor Farm 2 AFC Totton 3
Having gone behind early in the game AFC Totton hit back immediately before
extending their advantage with two second-half goals. A late consolation goal
for Manor Farm left no time in which to claw back any parity.
After a bright start Manor Farm went 1-0 up in the 6 th minute when the lively
Joe McClennan cut inside from the left wing, beating two defenders before
scoring with a curling right foot effort into the far top corner.
Farm’s joy was very short-lived as a minute later they failed to clear a forward
ball allowing an easy tap in for Liam Callaghan to equalise for Totton.
With the second half just seven minutes old Totton took the lead when Craig
Feeney got behind the Farm back four to lob the ball over an advancing Ben
John.
With just over twenty minutes to play, Feeney got to the bounce of a forward
pass, cut inside and coolly finished past John for 3-1.
Substitute Jordan Rogers pulled one back for the home side in injury time,
getting in front of his defender before poking the ball past Alexander Cull in
goal.
